And so you step away A suitcase full of stars Words packed for a better day Hands folding, unfolding And so there you are A hope chest made for change Filled with city trash All golden and molding Dressing, undressing and dressing again (it’s like?) Confessing, redressing, confessing again (it’s like?) What’s pressing me down to the earth all over again Oh, you don’t get what you deserve And inside, you die, you die, you die Oh you get what you won’t return, The broken hearts, a landslide Any last words before the knife? “What will be shall surely be” A stab and the scales come free Rending, unmending And so she slips away With a box of her favorite fears Which she throws in the ocean It falls, it sinks, it disappears Dressing, undressing and dressing again (it’s like?) Confessing, redressing, confessing again (it’s like?) What’s pressing me down to the earth all over again Oh, you don’t get what you deserve And inside, you die, you die, you die Oh you get what you won’t return, The broken hearts, a landslide Oh you get what you won’t return, The broken hearts, the landslide The landslide...

Rock steady hands shake in the station Girls and boys rock the Animal Nation Rock beat is pumping The bass sound is running Na-na-now If You’ll Fight, You’ll Win The future sound of every US small town Electronic noise, guitars in the background Unknown stars, but who wears the crown Na-na-now Small mob minds with the glam rock pose Heavy metal chicks with their weak-wristed beaus We’ll play the music that nobody knows Na-na-now If You’ll Fight, You’ll Win

about

Recorded at the West Building and The Office, 2002 thru 2019
Written, recorded and engineered by TSATS

"Any Last Words before The Knife?" (formerly known as "Landslide") was originally written and rough tracked during the recording of our "4 Songs" EP, but was orphaned soon after. A decade and a half passed before it was finally brought to its completion.

"73 Seconds" was originally recorded hastily as a super-rough demo of a song that (as it turns out) ended up being 73 seconds long. It was self-released by TSATS on a CD of demos and bonus tracks under the title "If You Will Fight, You Will Win". The lyrics were originally under the title "Suicide Kings", which really didn't suit the nature of the song.
